Collectively, IAG’s critical initiatives, combined with our greatest asset – our people – enable IAG to use advanced data analysis capabilities, provide greater and continuous assurance, and help ensure quality products and services are provided to American Express customers. The IAG group performs operational audits.

We are looking for those who share our mission and aspirations and are passionate about influencing the way the Company manages risk in a collaborative, people-focused environment.

Those joining will develop operational internal audit skills through an internal audit focused project, which exposes the auditor to various portfolios within the third line. You will gain hands-on audit experience, where you will develop the ability to identify and evaluate risk, business process controls, and/or technology controls across American Express.

As a summer intern, you'll have the opportunity to learn and apply our internal audit methodology, while gaining an understanding of the American Express business model.

• Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program


• Candidates with an expected graduation date in 2028

• Pursuing a BA, BS, or equivalent degree in accounting, finance, information systems, data analytics or information technology related field
